Jan Sewa Ashram is playing a pivotal role in the promotion of science & technology, strengthening the livelihood of underprivileged people in the country. The organization has wide-ranging activities ranging from promoting Scientific temper, income generation through the locally available raw material, Health hygiene of women and children’s, Waste Paper Recycling, Solid waste management, Bio-energy, women right to gender equality, basic research and Agriculture is one of priority area which has greater potential to accommodate huge unemployed opportunity for the youth of the nation. Appropriate rural technology focuses mainly on those technologies which are simple and within the reach of the ordinary people for their own benefit and the benefit of their community. The appropriate training/skill development is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty, raising incomes, promoting economic growth and shared prosperity, and for improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability.
The organization have established 6 waste paper recycling unit in the capacity of 0.3TPD and 4 solid waste management plant of 10 to 20 TPD and 50 vermi-comostinig of 5 TPD capacity in different parts of the country. We have trained 78200 of unemployed youth to raise scientific temper of eco WASH and created employment for 451 youth who are working at present in different organizations.
We work at the grass root level, and going through the feedback from the beneficiaries by visiting the project sites and meeting the ultimate stakeholders, i.e. the people living in the project area. Conduct the scientific surveys to understand the ground reality. The projects are designed in collaboration with the local village panchayat’s and the beneficiaries before we decide to submit for funding. We include beneficiaries, local village panchayat’s, local government official each and every step of the project, for successful implementation of the projects.
